26 May 2025 - Rally Setup Continues

The 2026 Alliance Rally officially runs Wed-Fri this week but our Welcome Event is Tuesday along with several other events and we started to set all that up today.  Volunteers placed signs, set-up tables and chairs, parked incoming rigs, and assembled welcome bags for attendees.  Others were busy receiving donated items for the silent auction and then photographing them and uploading them to the web site for this year's auction.  Donated items can be previewed here and the bidding will start on Wednesday:  https://event.gives/42571/items  Items that can be legally shipped (excluding alcohol, for instance) will be.

Here are a few pictures of various parts of the set-up.  Keep in mind the vast majority of these folks are Alliance owners and volunteers:

A whole building full of new pickleball courts this year

We worked most of the day setting things up and then had another "throw-on" with our Arkansas, Georgia and South Carolina friends.  Some of them did an Alaska RV trip last year after the 2024 Alliance Rally and brought home salmon and halibut filets.  Tonight they threw some of the halibut filets on the smoker and shared them with our group.  They were delicious!

Tomorrow arrival and check-in for the Rally will continue.  The service desk will be open for business and technicians will be all over the place making requested repairs on the attendees coaches.  Pickleball and cornhole practice will commence with tournaments later in the week.  Vendors will continue to arrive and set-up their booths.  They are having a "first-timer's" meeting to ensure those folks understand what is going on.  There will be Alliance factory tours conducted.  The silent auction folks will be accepting and processing more items being donated.  Various models of Alliance coaches will be on display and open for inspection.  The Welcome Event folks will finish final set-up and prepare the food that will be handed out later at the Welcome Event held from 1600-1900 hrs.  A band will be playing and from 1900-2100 is a bourbon tasting event.  It will be a full day for sure!!  We are thankful for the opportunity to meet new Ally's and reconnect with Alliance-owners we've met previously!
