Beautiful morning here today after our wild weather last night, except my coffee pot went belly up. I get about two years out of those k-cup machines and then I replace them. Admittedly I buy the cheap ones, not the Keurig models. I found a replacement on Amazon and it will be here tomorrow (Saturday). Cheaper to do that than spend the money in diesel to drive 40 miles round trip to the nearest Wally World.
We took Liberty on a stroll about the park and I stopped by the office to check in and get my vehicle pass. Super nice people here each time we have camped here. After our stroll Liberty was ready for a nap and so Doreen and I grabbed her shopping list and headed into town to the local IGA to replenish the pantry and fridge.
This afternoon I worked on a few projects on the computer and changed out our water filter elements. Later we tuned in the Chicago Cubs and their cross-town nemesis, the Chicago White Sox. The Cubs were victorious 13-3.
Later the weather started moving in again and of course we had the TV going, the weather radio, etc. We again had significant winds so the satellite dish was stowed. The wind continued to increase to a point we were seeing gusts above 30mph and we pulled in the slides and headed for the truck. Just as we were about to exit it really hit hard.
Doreen took Liberty to the truck and I followed after buttoning up the RV. I took a short video, but I could hardly breathe the dust was so bad.
