22 May 2025 - Moved to Alliance Factory - the "Mothership"

Friday morning we have an appointment with Alliance Service at 0600 hrs, so we took advantage of an opportunity to use one of their camping spots there at the factory.  That way we can button things up quickly in the morning and Alliance can get on with their service.  We had neighbors when we arrived here but they were waiting for an appointment at MORryde and departed shortly after we arrived.

Liberty was thrilled there was actually some grass here!  We took a couple walks around and were greeted by our great friend Jim Bonacci who was coming back to his office.  We continued our walk and stopped in the headquarters to see our friends there.  The co-founders Ryan and Coley Brady were there as well as co-owner and vice-president of customer service Bill Martin and Connor Mahan, director of dealer service  Doreen got a big hug from Jeremiah Dumka, vice-president of sales and we waved at April Clark as she headed out.  April is just a little busy right now as she is coordinating the Alliance Rally we are here to attend next week.

It is amazing how this company has grown.  They had just started making the Paradigm fifth wheel in January 2020 when we ordered ours the following month.  We took delivery in Match 2020 and our VIN is 119!  They had one plant at that time and a small staff.  Today they operate four plants plus a lamination facility and build the Paradigm fifth wheel, Valor toy hauler, the Avenue fifth wheel, the Delta bumper-pull plus a Benchmark park model.  Plant 5 is under construction right behind our camping spot.  Our first rally was at the Elkhart campground and we had less than 40 coaches there, and we were there.  This is Alliances, and our sixth rally and we have met hundreds of new friends from across the country.

Construction on Plant #5 right behind our camper

It was interesting as we walked around with Liberty to see all the materials they have staged around the plants for the various builds.
Racks of stairs

Trailer frames, most likely Delta's since they are not fifth wheel drop frames

A newer style 3D front cap

Rows of new Delta's

Mostly Valor toy haulers

.  Besides seeing all the new coaches waiting to be delivered to their new owners, It is interesting to see things that you normally cannot see after the coaches are built.  It is interesting to look at the frames and the slideout mechanisms. We saw wall sections that had been welded but not yet laminated.  Here is a stack of black tanks.  The color of the tank is not what I am referring to, but the tank function.  The "black" tank is the tank that is connected to the toilet.  These are "black" tanks because they have a sprayer port.  The "grey" tanks and the fresh water tank do not.

That's it for today.  We hung out here, made pizza for dinner and watched the WNBA Indiana Fever beat the Atlanta Dream on TV.

Early to bed, early to rise for our service work tomorrow.
